Hi Donna,

I came to the show later than the American viewers as it first aired up here in Canada in the Fall of ‘07. But I fell in love with it anyway.

If you read my first post about Blood Ties you’ll see I do have another motive for keeping Blood Ties on the air: quality Canadian programming telling Canadian stories on Canadian TV! I’m currently waiting for the Juno Awards to come on thinking that if we didn’t have the Canadian Content rules (CanCon for short) that we’d never have all the great music talent making waves around the world. I’m tired of Canadian TV shows I like getting cancelled.

I’ll keep spreading the word via my blog.

Thanks for helping spread the word. Its interesting to see how many Moonlight fans are now discovering this show. I bet when/if a 3rd season is announced that the ratings for it will be the highest ever due to the fans getting the word out.
